As the Ecommerce specialist, you are responsible for managing and enhancing the brand's digital experience across all digital platforms. This role involves overseeing customer service, digital sales, managing the website, crafting compelling brand stories, amplifying brand marketing, and optimizing user experience through expert use of graphics and design.

At OKAKIE, we have a career opportunity for a highly-experienced seamstress to construct, alter, modify, and repair garments for our customers and/or production team.
As a successful seamstress at OKAKIE, you are detail-oriented and knowledgeable of clothing design and construction. You have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication, time management, sewing, and problem-solving skills to ensure that customers are satisfied with the sewing services you provide.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss design, alteration, or repair requirements with customers to ensure that their specifications are met.
- Taking customers’ measurements using a tape measure.
- Accurately recording customers' measurements, instructions, and preferences.
- Modifying garments according to customer instructions, which includes hems, altering side seams, removing or adding pockets, and strap adjustments.
- Altering garments to improve comfort and fit, which includes shortening hems, sleeves or straps, as well as taking in or letting out seams.
- Repairing customers' garments, which includes patching or sewing tears and holes.
- Constructing samples for the design team based on their ideas, specifications, and preferences.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience working as a tailor
- Sound knowledge of fabrics as well as clothing design and construction
- The ability to use an industrial sewing machine, an industrial serger and are familiar with a overstitch machine.

We currently have an opportunity for a fit model to work with our design team, based at OKAKIE HQ in Edmonton Canada, in creating + sampling our newest styles. Could it be you?
You will be required to:
- Be able to give accurate and constructive feedback on fit.
- Fit sample garments across our different clothing collections for the purpose of analysing the design before production.
- May be required to pose for social media or photos in the new styles
